Dr. Brooke Aggarwal Selected As A 2022 “Progress at the Heart” Award Recipient

Dr. Brooke Aggarwal of the Division of Cardiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center was selected as one of four recipients of the 2022 “Progress at the Heart” Award from Harmony Biosciences. This award funds innovative programs that address health disparities and inequities in rare neurological disease and sleep disorder communities. The award will allow for Dr. Aggarwal and her team to develop a new program called, “REST: Reinforcing Essentials of Sleep for Teens”, which aims to raise awareness of the importance of healthy sleep for the prevention of cardiovascular disease and other chronic diseases.
